Glanmore Gets SPOOKY!

BELLEVILLE – The City of Belleville’s Glanmore National Historic Site, part of the Community Services Department, is ready for spooky season with a special exhibit and fun-filled family-friendly Halloween event!  

Glanmore’s Creepy Curiosities exhibit features unusual artifacts throughout the restored rooms of Glanmore National Historic Site. As you explore the historic house you will be intrigued by strange and curious artifacts including a wicker body basket, whimsical woodcarvings, a mythical mermaid, and other odd and downright creepy artifacts from Glanmore’s artifact collections. Creepy Curiosities exhibit is included with regular museum admission. The exhibit is on display at Glanmore National Historic Site, 257 Bridge Street East, Belleville, from Tuesday, October 8 until Sunday, November 3, 2024.  

Glanmore invites you to get into the spirit of Halloween with Glanmore National Historic Site’s Family-night at the B00-seum event taking place on Friday, October 25, 2023, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.  Don your Halloween costumes and join in an evening at Glanmore filled with family-friendly Halloween fun! 

During the event families can watch spooky silent films, make creepy Halloween crafts, and enjoy some indoor trick-or-treating. Take in the Creepy Curiosities exhibit as you explore the historic house and be sure to keep a look-out for a few other surprises along the way! Family Night at the B00-seum is an all-ages event.  Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $8.50 for students and seniors, $6.50 for children 5-12 and children under 5 are FREE.  Advance tickets are required and can be purchased at www.glanmore.ca.
