Glanmore Gets Spooky - October 2025!

Glanmore National Historic Site (257 Bridge St. East, Belleville) is ready for spooky season with a special exhibit and fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event!  

Glanmore’s Creepy Curiosities exhibit features unusual artifacts throughout the restored rooms of Glanmore National Historic Site. As you explore the historic house you will be intrigued by strange and curious artifacts including a wicker body basket, whimsical woodcarvings, a mythical mermaid, and other odd and downright peculiar artifacts from Glanmore’s collections. The Creepy Curiosities exhibit is included with regular museum admission. The exhibit is on display at Glanmore National Historic Site from Wednesday, Oct. 1 until Sunday, Nov. 2.  

Glanmore invites you to get into the spirit of Halloween with the museum’s Family Night at the B00-seum event taking place on the evening of Friday, Oct. 24. New to this year’s event is a sensory-friendly hour, with smaller crowds and reduced noise and lighting from 4 to 5 p.m. The main event with timed entry admissions will then take place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Don your Halloween costumes and join in an evening at Glanmore filled with family-friendly Halloween fun (no inflatable costumes or prop projectiles/weapons, please)!

During Family Night at the BOO-seum, families can watch spooky silent films, make a ghostly or jack-o-lantern themed craft and enjoy indoor trick-or-treating. Take in the Creepy Curiosities exhibit as you explore the historic house and be sure to check out weird and wonderful activities in the Creepy Kitchen! Family Night at the B00-seum is an all-ages event. Tickets are $12.25 for adults, $10.25 for seniors and youth, $8 for children ages 5-12, and children under 5 are FREE. Advance tickets are required and can be purchased online at www.glanmore.ca.
