Artifacts Online
Explore our artifact collection from the comfort of your home. Glanmore’s online artifact database allows you to see close up photographs and information about artifacts. We are working to add more artifacts to the database everyday.

Artifact Picks
Over the past few years our staff have recorded more than two dozen Artifact Pick Videos. In each of these short videos (most only 2 to 3 minutes long) we highlight and share information about an interesting artifact in our collection.

These videos provide an great way to learn more about some of our restoration projects.

Educational Activities for Children

Flattie Hattie

Meet Flattie Hattie, our new museum mascot. She is a paper doll made from an 1880s ladies fashion plate image. While Glanmore is closed to the public Flattie Hattie has kept busy exploring and sharing her adventures around Glanmore on our Facebook and Instagram channels. Follow along to see what she gets up to!

Have you ever heard of the Museum Dance Off? Glanmore entered and won the Canadian Championships in both 2018 and 2017. For a bit of entertainment you can watch our award winning Dance Off videos. They are sure bring a smile to your face!

We created some online jigsaw puzzles to keep you busy and entertained. The puzzles feature photography of the historic site, paintings and artifacts in our collection and even our dear Flattie Hattie! There are a variety of levels of difficulty available. Give our jigsaw puzzles a try!
