Glanmore invites residents to explore local fashion history with Steeped in Style

BELLEVILLE – Glanmore National Historic Site is inviting residents to step into spring-time elegance with Steeped in Style, a special event celebrating a love for hats and Belleville’s millinery history taking place on Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m. This engaging program will explore the stories of local milliners while showcasing a selection of hats from the museum’s Regional Collection. Attendees will learn how these unique pieces reflected fashion trends, identity and craftsmanship in a bygone era, all within the historic setting of Glanmore. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12.75 for youth and seniors, and $9.75 for children aged five to 12. Space is limited and advance tickets are required. Attendees are encouraged to wear their own favourite hat, cap, or fascinator to the event!
